NISSAN MAXIMA DRIFT WAGON - V08
27 October 2026 - by Alain il Professore

INSTALL FROM THE PACK FOLDER
The ZIP contains ONE folder named NIMA_DRIFT_WAGON_V08_COMPLETE, matching the
ZIP filename. Place that COMPLETE folder directly INSIDE your Stunts folder.
Example: C:\STUNTS\NIMA_DRIFT_WAGON_V08_COMPLETE\NIMAINST.BAT
Do not copy the BAT files to the game root and do not add another folder layer.

Close Stunts. Open the pack folder and double-click NIMAINST.BAT on Windows.
In DOS/DOSBox, enter the pack folder using its displayed short name and run
NIMAINST. The scripts use DOS-style commands; only the Windows branch uses
Windows path expansion. No SETLOCAL, PowerShell or external installer is needed.
The installer copies NIMADATA's four resources into the PARENT Stunts folder.
Launch Stunts and select Maxima Drift Wagon / NIMA.

UNINSTALL
Close the game and run NIMAUNIN.BAT from the SAME pack folder. It restores the
files saved in the parent Stunts folder's NIMABAK directory, including previous
PVS/XVS/P3S variants. Files absent before installation are removed again.
Repeated installation preserves the FIRST backup. Existing V06 backups remain
compatible. Keep the pack folder and NIMABAK until you uninstall.
If the parent is not recognized as a Stunts folder, installation stops safely.

V08 FEATURES — SAKURA AND STEERING MARKER
- exp0 to exp3 now hold four small folded, notched cherry-blossom
petal variants, pink/white. Debris is centred at its own origin and uses car1
scale. Each petal spans less than 30 cm per axis; old panels spanned about 10 m.
Stock crash-particle motion and lifetime remain unchanged.
- This changes 3D crash debris, not ambient weather or the shared 2D blast flash.
- All 31 native marker points (61 positions with left reflection) follow the
measured midpoint of the photographed rim, including the round sprite anchor.
Every marker pixel stays on the rim; maximum measured error is 1.04 VGA pixels.
- The path is in CARNIMA.RES: only 57 steering-table bytes change. Engine, gearing,
handling and gauge needles are preserved. STDANIMA.VSH and STDBNIMA.VSH are
identical to V07, as are car0/car1/car2; only the four exp shapes change in STNIMA.

V07 FEATURES
- Closed smoked-glass sunroof, integrated into the roof mesh in all three models.
- Anthracite-black front splitter, native RGB 32/32/32, graphite edge 56/56/56:
black in appearance but different from pure-black road pixels.
- ELEVEN paint jobs. The original eight remain first; new entries are:
  9. Pachinko Silver: silver/white, neon-magenta stripe, chrome-silver wheels.
  10. Golden Streets: gold/yellow, violet stripe, gold wheels.
  11. Cyberpunk Cyan Blue: cyan/navy blue, magenta stripe, cyan wheels.
Native type-12 wheels use three consecutive material colours for tread,
sidewall and hub. The new wheels use matched silver, gold and cyan families;
these colours are encoded in the actual 3SH, not just the preview pictures.
Use the usual paint-selection control to cycle through the eleven entries.
The names describe the schemes in the documentation; Stunts' native menu does
not gain a new textual list of named paint jobs.

PRESERVED
Photographic cockpit with no hands, round steering marker, speed and rpm gauges
inside the wheel, decorative turbo gauge, visible hydraulic handbrake, photo
gearshift base, forward fender mirrors, pale-yellow headlights, amber indicators,
rear flares extending to the tailgate, graphite/silver engine and upright 68.
Rear lamp selector 45 still switches to 46 normally or 47 when braking, in all
three models and all eleven paints. Cockpit images, engine and gearing are preserved.
The engine is an extrapolated RB26DETT preparation around 400 PS / 440 Nm;
speed is mph, tachometer numbers are thousands of rpm. Turbo pressure and the
hydraulic handbrake are static graphics, not additional native functions.

CONTENTS AND VALIDATION
NIMADATA contains CARNIMA.RES, STDANIMA.VSH, STDBNIMA.VSH and STNIMA.3SH.
READMEFR.TXT, CHANGES.TXT, sources, development tips, previews and audits are
included. The game itself is not included. Manual installation is possible by
copying the four NIMADATA resources into Stunts and setting priority variants aside.
The parent-folder install/uninstall logic is checked by filesystem simulations.
Native C checks cover 3,168 vehicle cases, 66 brake states, 4,224 petal cases
and 88 vehicle-with-18-petals scenes (maximum 233 of 400 polygons), plus resource structure, masks, wheel indices and eleven material lists per shape.
The BAT files have not been executed in real Windows cmd or DOSBox here; no
full DOS gameplay session or sustained-drift test is claimed. Preview wheels
are an inspection approximation, not a game screenshot.
Rebuild native files from SOURCES using Python 3, NumPy and Pillow:
build_model.py, build_dashboard.py, validate_pack.py. See AUDITS and SHA256SUMS.txt.
